I started Ikigai The Label after many years of wanting to be a business owner, going to fashion school, & waiting for the right time to take the leap. So I've started & am running Ikigai out of my 2 bedroom apartment working full time in content marketing for a startup. Just a girl trying to make her dreams a reality!
About Ikigai
what's Ikigai mean?
"Ikigai" is Japanese word meaning "a reason for being, a convergence of passion, belief, values, and vocation that gives you something to live for. a reason to get out of bed every morning"
For me, I've always had a passion for fashion, and expressing myself through my clothes. An outfit can instantly lift a mood, make you feel like yourself, or even do the opposite when you're not dressing like yourself.
I wanted to take something im passionate about and make it into my job & help others find clothing that makes them feel like the best version of themselves. So "ikigai the label" was born.
